We Promote Recovery

We are proud to invite you to take part in our annual charity event, Queens for Recovery. Each year, local drag queen celebrities from the Cincinnati area participate in this event showcasing their creativity, originality, and talent. We are proud to have the Imperial Sovereign Queen City Court of the Buckeye Empire, Inc. (The Court). The Court is a regional, Cincinnati-based 501-(c)(3) incorporated non-profit organization that seeks to support the financial needs of the tri-state area’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning community through various fundraising events. To date, The Court has raised nearly $1.2 million dollars for charities supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS, GLBTQ youth, transgender health and support groups, suicide prevention, and women’s health initiatives.Queens For Recovery is the only alcohol and drug-free event benefiting addicted LGBTQ+ individuals get into sober living, treatment, and recovery programs.

The money raised from this event will help assist local LGBTQ+ individuals ages of 18 + living with an addiction. Thanks to our donors, we have been able to send LGBTQ+ individuals to programs.

With your support, we can meet this year 2018's goal of $3,500! This sum will allow us to sponsor individuals who need a safe place to seek help. Hence, your participation, in either a corporate or personal capacity, will be deeply appreciated. By becoming a Queens For Recovery sponsor, you will truly make recovery possible for local LGBTQ+ individuals living with an addiction.

On behalf of our organization, our charity, and individuals we serve, thank you for your time and consideration. Every dollar you donate can help addicted LGBTQ+ individuals renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives. We will see you again, Sunday, December 2, 2018.
